Pairview ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Pairview platform at pairview.io, an AI-assisted technical interview platform for companies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: Name, work email address, company name, and password.
• Interview data: Notes, feedback forms, code editor sessions, and AI-generated reports created during interviews.
• Google account data: When you connect Google Calendar, we access your Google account email address and the ability to create, update, and delete calendar events on your behalf. We do not read your existing calendar events.
• Usage data: Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Pairview platform.
• To automatically create, update, and delete Google Calendar events when interviews are scheduled or cancelled — only when you have explicitly connected your Google Calendar.
• To generate AI-assisted interview summaries and reports using anonymized interview content.
• To send transactional emails (interview invitations, confirmations, team invitations).
• To improve the platform and diagnose technical issues.

4. Google Calendar Integration

Pairview's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• We only create, update, and delete calendar events that Pairview itself creates.
• We do not read, store, or share the contents of your existing Google Calendar events.
• Your Google OAuth tokens are stored securely and used solely to manage Pairview interview events.
• You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings → Connections.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the following service providers necessary to operate Pairview:

• Anthropic: AI model provider for interview analysis and report generation.
• Daily.co: Video conferencing infrastructure for interview rooms.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery.
• Cloudflare R2: Video recording storage.
• Google: Calendar integration (only when you explicitly connect your account).

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and associated interview records will be permanently deleted within 30 days. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, HTTP-only session cookies, and access controls. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are never exposed to client-side code.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. You may also disconnect third-party integrations (such as Google Calendar) at any time from your account settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of Pairview after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
